cycling apparel is our DNA
Cycling, for us, is inherited memory — shaped over generations.
DABO was not created from an idea, but from a legacy built through discipline, sacrifice, and years lived inside the sport. At the center of that story is our grandfather, Luciano Dalla Bona, whose career left a permanent mark on the way we think, design, and create today.
Before we understood results, we understood commitment. Before we knew his name in cycling history, we knew the weight of what it meant to live the sport every single day.
His story became part of our foundation: the decisive victory on Stage 19 of the Giro d'Italia, the precision and solitude of becoming World Champion in the team time trial in 1964 and 1965, and the silver medal at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Not simply achievements, but lessons in endurance, focus, and respect for the craft.
When his racing career ended, that philosophy did not disappear. In 1978, he founded a cycling team dedicated to passing those values forward — discipline, resilience, responsibility, and the understanding that real growth happens far from the spotlight. Years later, that same vision still lives on.
From there, the next step became natural: building garments with the same mentality the sport demanded. Everything designed and developed in Italy, where craftsmanship is not separated from culture, and quality is not sacrificed for speed. From the first sketch to the final construction, every piece remains close to its origin — intentional, controlled, uncompromised.
We do not use heritage to tell a story.
We build within it.
